English 12" Tweezers
These tweezers are mostly inspired by old English varieties like those of Ivan smith and his predecessors, Jack Rann, etc. I’ve also brought in some notes from Maruko’s beaked tips and Dino’s interior treatments. Other old Italian tweezers have definitely made their impression on these designs as well as my own personal touch. I am presently experimenting with stiffness of the strap, and using a variety of steel grades to achieve a desired tension. “Not too stiff” seems to be the general consensus as much as “not too floppy” though “fair” stiffness seems to be the preferred Goldilocks zone - which falls soft of center on to stiffness spectrum. I can’t put these down and they’re a real treat to forge.
