Goblet Nero (Goblet Jacks)

$460.00

These goblet jacks, for comparison, have a more traditional Italian profile and longer blade than some of the other goblet jacks on the market these days, like the square backs for example. For these jacks, I was inspired by Dino goblet jacks as well as Dona cup jacks and some antique Italian jacks I’ve come across. I am very excited about these jacks and feel like they’re a unique approach to a style that’s proven to cut like a scalpel for precision work.

I am presently using a black patina on the jacks. I then coat the patina in a wax and coconut oil mixture that behaves somewhat like a paste wax. This looks great and has a wonderfully smooth feel in the hand. It also acts as a nice pre-seasoning that allows new wax to stick better but also it seems that the jacks don’t need much upon first use and that they sort of line themselves up.

These high quality and highly functional tools are hand made one at a time per order in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Each tool shows clean and visible signs of being made by hand and each is a unique object.

Tools are made per order and are selling fast, please allow some lead time for tools to be made and shipped.
